Mayambala Orphanage Center
Is a charity organisation located in Kyamula central part of Uganda created to facilitate and take care of orphan children in a religious centered hands, emphasizing sustainability, Empowerment and community development. The Organization was founded by Mr. Mayambala Jamada Rocky and together is run with his friends below who also share the same passion to support the orphans and vulnerable children.
Meet Our Team
Mayambala Orphanage Center is a charity organisation based in Uganda, in the Outskirts of the city Kampala, Kyamula - Makidye Division, Salama Road. As a result of a need to support the less fortunate in the area, Mr. Mayambala Jamada started the organisation in 2020 with his friends James and Billy.
Who We Are
We are a non-organization located in Kyamula central part of Uganda created to facilitate and take care of orphan children in a religious centered hands, emphasizing sustainability, Empowerment and community development. In our project area, number of Orphans, and Street Children are found. The problem of orphans/street children is acute due to urbanization and industrialization. Due to the deaths of HIV/AIDS affected parents, Re-marriage of deserted/widowed/divorced women, absence of love and security in the families, Family disputes, domestic violence, Unwanted pregnancy, Sexually exploited girls; these orphan and street children are left without care and support.
These children are involved in rag picking; pick pocketing and participating in anti-social, criminal activities which lead to; oral decay of the future generation. Therefore, we envisage mainstreaming these children in the community by providing care, support and protection in our Mayambala Orphanage Center Home.
Our Mission
To provide care, support & protection through shelter, food, education and to improve the lives of the community while Providing a safe place for vulnerable babies and young children.
At Mayambala Orphanage Center, we believe that, where possible, children should be in a family ideally their own.
Our Vision
To see a safe, caring and loving environment for children and young adults aged 0-23 (Regardless of HIV status or disability), who are vulnerable, orphaned or abandoned.
To strive at placing our children back into their family home; where this is not possible we would hope for adoption. If neither of the above are possible the child would be welcome to remain at Mayambala Orphanage Center Home..
